John was born in Europe during World War II and, after emigrating to the United States, he and his adopted family settled in South Jersey.
Joining the family construction and developing business, he developed an interest and love of real estate. He learned and excelled in all phases of residential real estate and land acquisition and subdivision, working with architects, construction supervision and marketing of custom and speculative homes.
John moved to Long Island in 1975 when he purchased Whaler's Inn in Cold Spring Harbor, NY. After many years in the food service business with notable success and gaining a much admired industry-wide reputation, John retired to his home in Hampton Bays.
But, that was short lived. Realizing retirement was not for him, he decided to return to his first love, real estate. So, in 2007, with a new real estate salesperson's license in hand he began his retirement career.
Eight years later finds him with the premier real estate company on Long Island...Douglas Elliman.
John enjoys travel, ballroom dancing, gardening and is an avid amateur chef.
